A place that makes distance smaller
What Probasi Live is, who builds it, and why.
What is Probasi Live?
"Probasi" means someone living away from home. Millions of Bangladeshis live and work abroad, far from family, friends and the everyday sound of their own language. Probasi Live is a live streaming and voice room app built for that community — and for everyone back home who wants to stay close to them.
In the app you can start a video or audio live, sit in a voice room and talk with friends, take part in Room PK battles, send gifts to hosts you enjoy, and meet new people who share your language and culture.
What you can do
- Go live — video or audio, alone or with guests on stage.
- Voice rooms — seat-based rooms for conversation, music and adda.
- Room PK battles — two rooms compete for support before the timer ends.
- Gifts, store and bag — animated gifts, profile frames, entry animations and chat bubbles.
- Profiles, friends and chat — follow people, become friends and message privately.
- Rankings and levels — monthly boards and level badges that reward activity.
How we keep it safe
Probasi Live is for adults aged 18 and over. Every live, room, profile and message can be reported or blocked from inside the app. Our monitors review reports and watch live rooms, and they can end a room or suspend an account when our Community Guidelines are broken. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation — see our Child Safety Standards.
Your privacy
We collect only what the app needs to work, we do not sell personal data, and you can ask us to delete your account at any time. The details are in our Privacy Policy and on the account deletion page.
Who we are
Probasi Live is developed and operated by the Probasi Live team (app package com.applooma.probasilive). We are a small team building social products for Bengali-speaking communities.
